Imo's Pizza was founded in 1964 by Ed and Margie Imo, who started with a simple idea: create a delicious, unique pizza experience and deliver it right to people's doors. The Imos introduced St. Louis to their signature thin crust pizza, topped with Provel cheese and cut into squares instead of triangular slices—a style that would become known as "St. Louis-style pizza." This distinctive approach, combined with fresh ingredients and a dedication to customer satisfaction, quickly made Imo's a local favorite.
